Ik heb de opleiding bij de Stichting statief afgerond met een boek en expositie 'Echt Werk. Martin van Thiel schrijft hierover:
Inmiddels is Jan Willem klaar met de opleiding, hij is bezig een expositie samen te stellen van ‘Echt
Werk’, en dan komt het officiële handjes schudden, de diploma-uitreiking en het bier drinken en het
feest. Geweldige prestatie, Jan Willem gaat uitstekend, doet veel opdrachten is al fotograferend aan
een nieuw leven begonnen. Na Lisette alweer de tweede student dit jaar die de eindstreep heeft
gehaald met plezier
